there were pictures.
When I was 14, I was given a used Pentax K100 and decided I wanted to be a documentary photographer. A Mary Ellen Mark or Karel Cudlin. Traveling the world, unattached.
I never did see a frontline or embed in a foreign land, but I did document my own life. There has still been plenty of travel, and I am happily, deeply attached to my friends and their stories.
